We lost two cultural icons this week, Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain; I believe that we are all collectively shocked. Tomorrow, I will embark on my own “Parts Unknown” travel to beautiful Piedmont, Italy. On arrival, my first sip of Barolo will be dedicated to you Mr. Bourdain 🍷 Because no matter what your stature in life and where you come from, nothing brings people together more than food and great wine. I’m quite excited to meet the people of Piemonte and to enjoy some of the region’s world famous food & wines. This is after all, a project to highlight the authentic Italian brand and the importance of using ONLY the real deal when wanting to experience authentic Italian flavor.
