National Republic Day ITALY

When in Rome….toss that coin at the Trevi ✨ ✨ Today is National Republic Day here in Italy.  It is a national holiday as well.  It is the day Italy ended monarchy and  became a Democratic Republic in 1946. 🇮🇹

I managed to squeeze a long stroll and enjoyed this magnificent city at night.  Altare Della Patria(The Altar of Fatherland) is truly a magnificent sight to behold.  People watching at the Spanish steps, my first canoli since I landed, colosseum stroll at night is beyond magical.  Oh Roma, I didn’t see all of you tonight but I will be back.
